At the beginning of 2017, I began a personal photography project, “Project 52 Radness” with other amazing woman to get in the frame, alone, with our littles, our husbands, to really show that we were there too. One of my images was even featured on their Dear Photographer Blog! It was perfect timing to make sure I was capturing my growing belly, and  it also became a special time for my daughter and I, as she loved setting up the tripod and clicking the remote.

Then as my second babe arrived in April, it captured our growing family and little moments with him that I never want to forget. As I complied all the images form over the year, although some months getting in the frame happened more than others,  I am so incredibly thankful for them all.  If I hadn’t made a commitment to myself, I might have never taken these images and not have these special memories of me and my family.  As a photographer, it is so easy to stay on the other side of the camera, but for our family, for my children, it is so important to me that they have memories of me with them, to show them how much they were loved as children, and how much joy they bring me.
